Building your email list is priority but what is the importance of lead generation and why is it crucial?
Hi, I’m Rachel with inspire purpose. I am a web designer and course creator sharing tips and information hoping to empower others to create their own course!
So, what is lead generation and why so important?
Lead generation is the process of attracting and converting strangers and prospects into someone who has indicated interest in your company's product or service.
These individuals, known as leads, are people who have shown an interest in what your business has to offer by providing their contact information in exchange for something valuable, like a piece of content or a discount. The most important thing here is making sure whatever you give away, it is valuable & relevant to your niche!
Once you have generated leads, you can then nurture them through targeted marketing and sales efforts to increase the likelihood that they will become paying customers.
There are many different tactics that businesses can use to generate leads, including social media advertising, search engine optimization, content marketing, and email marketing.
Okay, but why is it necessary for your course creation business?
Well, ultimately, it helps you grow your business! If you have an email list, that is going to be your priority!
In today's world, email marketing is one of the most effective ways to reach out to your customers. It is a powerful tool that can help you grow your business and increase your revenue.
However, to make the most out of your email marketing efforts, you need to have a strong email list.
That's where lead generation comes in.
When someone willingly provides you with their email address, it shows that they are interested in what you have to offer.
By providing them with valuable content and offers, you can build trust and establish yourself as an authority in your industry. People buy from people they like, know, and trust and that is what you want to build here.
The more people you have on your email list,
the higher the chances of them converting into customers. By regularly communicating with your subscribers and providing them with valuable content and offers, you can keep them engaged and interested in your products or services.
Now, I can tell you that it can take a while for people to read their email and start getting involved.. They say you should send out anywhere from 6-10 before they really engage. But don’t give up on that… If you write, they will come ;)
If you tailor your emails to your subscribers interests
it ensures that your emails are more relevant and engaging, which in turn increases the chances of your subscribers opening and clicking through your emails.
